Privacy Policy

Your data, your control.

Last updated: July 8, 2025

Your privacy is fundamentally important to us. It is MAXGPT's policy to respect and protect your privacy regarding any information we may collect from you across our website and services. This policy outlines our practices concerning data collection, use, and protection.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in a few ways, all aimed at providing and improving our service.

Account Information: We use Google Firebase Authentication to handle user sign-ins. We collect the basic profile information provided by your Google account, such as your email address and a unique User ID (UID). This is used solely to create, secure, and manage your MAXGPT account.

User-Submitted Earnings Data: We collect and securely store the financial data that you voluntarily submit through our forms. This includes earnings amounts, platform names, dates, categories, and any notes you add. This data is directly tied to your UID and is the core of your personal dashboard experience.

Anonymous Analytics Data: We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous, non-personally-identifiable data about how users interact with our site. This may include information like your browser type, session duration, and the pages you visit. Your IP address is anonymized by Google Analytics, and we do not have access to it.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the MAXGPT service.
  • To display your personal earnings data back to you in your private dashboard.
  • To allow you to analyze your financial performance over time.
  • To aggregate data anonymously for features like the global leaderboard. All data used in this feature is stripped of personal identifiers.
  • To understand usage patterns and improve the user experience of our website.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others. Your individual earnings data is private to you. We may only disclose your information if required by law, such as in response to a subpoena, court order, or other governmental request.

4. Data Security

We are committed to protecting your data. We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. All data is stored securely within Google's Firestore database and is protected by robust security rules to prevent unauthorized access. All data transmission is encrypted using SSL/TLS technology.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information and earnings data for as long as your account is active with us. If you choose to delete your account, we will permanently delete all of your associated data from our active databases within a reasonable period. Please note that we may retain anonymized or aggregated data indefinitely for analytical purposes.

6. Your Data Rights

You have the right to access, update, or delete your information at any time. Your earnings data can be edited or deleted directly from your dashboard. If you wish to permanently delete your entire account and all associated data, please contact us, and we will process your request.

7. Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new privacy policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
